hey from 2011

with years NY looses its sense. and all is left - just partying till morn. which is not bad at all =)
somehow it happens that each couple of years i celebrate NY with quite random people. those i would never expect to see on the 1st of Jan.
this year we didn't make NY resolutions - was planned to make them "in the morning when we are sober". but in the morning we had champagne (as we were told, fucking expensive. well, it was ok) and watched cartoons. so - no resolutions
but a couple of things i would like to do this year - visit more "cultural events" - theatre shows, galleries etc. i miss that part of life. secondly - meet with friends more often. without regular meetings over some past 6 month (maybe more) i ended up with no best friends. thirdly - continue the move towards enjoying each and every moment. some steps are made, some - still to come. and of course - finally write my 1st book
i've learned to enjoy everything i see. its surprising how nature "gets into" urban views and makes them better. after seeing that, i will never believe those futuristic movies that show totally ugly cities. in each shithole of this world you just have to look up.

these 2 pictures were taken at the same time/place. the camera just could not capture the whole views, so i had to take 2. but the view was very peaceful, calm and cold. a kind of perfect urban winter.
